OUR VISION
The San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce (SFAACC) is one of California's most influential minority business organizations, representing and promoting African American business owners in San Francisco. Through advocacy and economic development, SFAACC is creating a firm economic base that supports the self-determination and survival of African American businesses. SFAACC is a non-profit 501c3 corporation.
OUR HISTORY
The San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce and its successor, the San Francisco Black Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1973 and has been a founding member of numerous other organizations, including the California Black Chamber and the National Black Chamber of Commerce.

Networking is vital to successful business growth. Your Net Worth is dependent on your Network. The SFAACC Business Mixers, which feature guest speakers and workshops, are held monthly. These events give members the opportunity to establish personal as well as professional relationships with others who share mutual goals. Not only will you meet potential new clients, you’ll promote your products and services and develop lasting relationships. The SFAACC encourages and promotes networking with other African American Chambers, including the OAACC and the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce.

Receive direct business referrals from the SFAACC that will have knowledge of you and your business. The SFAACC can match you with business people who are seeking your products and/or services. We provide you company with the opportunity to increase its exposure and gain information to successfully grow your business. Inquiries directed to the SFAACC for products and services are referred only to member within the organization.
ENTREPRENEUR EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The SFAACC sponsors numerous seminars and educational programs, ranging from access to capital, navigating government rules and policy, and marketing strategies. Education and training provides our members the opportunity to gain critical business insights, procurement strategies, certification consulting and details on how to write effective business plans.
POLITICAL ADVOCACY
The support you provide the SFAACC translates into legislative and political advocacy for our members and our community. The SFAACC co-sponsors candidate’s forums, debates and voter registration initiatives to ensure that our issues and concerns are addressed by local and State candidates. The SFAACC participates in City Hall Advocacy Day and meets with all members of the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor of San Francisco to discuss legislation that impacts African American businesses.
